About the Company

Chris Stagman, the owner of Steam Solve CC, has been involved with the carpet, upholstery and textile cleaning/restoration industry for a few years.

Having been employed by a long-established company, Chris gained extensive experience and insight into the textile cleaning industry through hands-on training. Prior to this, Chris held a position as a manager for a detergent manufacturing company.

In order to offer a more personalised service and with the necessary experience in hand, Steam Solve CC was formed.

An Overview of the Cleaning Process

Steam-Cleaning

1. Drapery and Vertical Blinds are steam-cleaned onsite. This benefits being:
- No bare windows whilst curtains are being cleaned offsite
- No use of chemicals or solvents, which may reduce lifespan and affect allergy sufferers.
- No shrinkage of fabric
- Not harmful to block out lined curtains and roman blinds

2. Mattresses are steam-cleaned onsite.
Upon close inspection one will see that mattresses are inhabited by dust mites, which feast on the build upon dead skin cells and subsequently leave an abundance of excrement behind. The warm and often moist conditions of mattresses also leave them prone to bed bugs, mildew, fungus spores and the like.

Conventional vacuum cleaners do not kill dust mites or eliminate mildew however steam cleaning will rid your home of most of these pests.

Mattresses generally take only 1 to 2 hours to dry depending on the weather.

Hot Water Extraction Machine

Carpets and furniture are cleaned using a hot water extraction machine. This machine is also used in cases where water needs to be extracted (flood damage restoration).

Recommended for deep cleansing and extraction of dirt including odour-causing bacteria, fleas and their larvae, pet hairs, stains etc.
